What is the Cosplay Alliance?
The Cosplay Alliance is a group of students and friends led by one uber cool mom who like to attend cultural and comic conventions and festivals locally and throughout the Midwest.

What type of conventions and festivals do Cosplay Alliance members attend?
Just about anything. There are many cultural festivals in the Kansas City area such as the Japan Festival, Renaissance Fairs, and Anime conventions to name a few.

Is the Cosplay Alliance a school sponsored/related organization?
No. Although most members attend a local high school the Cosplay Alliance is not related to that school in any form.

What is Cosplay?
Cosplay is short for "costumed play." Participants wear costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or ideal usually from popular fiction including manga, anime, comic books, graphic novels, video games, and fantasy movies. Basically, dressing up and attending cons/fests.

Who makes the items available in the Cosplay Alliance etsy shop?
Our members craft items for sale. New items will be added frequently so please check back often.

Are all items for sale cosplay related?
No. We list lots of crafts and seasonal items such as tile necklaces for Spring, Japanese themed jewelry, make-up, etc. You can also purchase Cosplay Alliance t-shirts, jewelry, key chains and more.
